We investigate the circumstances of fires where a product has or could be implicated and give expert opinion in any related criminal or civil action.
Many products, even those that have controlling standards, become involved and implicated in fire. Manufacturers and retailers may benefit from independent fire-related evaluation before full distribution or following a fire. Public product recall is the ultimate sanction but even lesser actions such as re modelling or modification can be prohibitively expensive.
Considerable experience has been gained in the investigation of small fires involving a variety of products from industrial machinery to candles. This experience has provided a unique insight into the area of "reasonable conditions of use" of products.
